2024 Wrapped

hey, hi.
how ya doin? i'm aris miller

a multi-hyphenate designer,

entrepreneur + vinyl collector

a year of growth

I had to unlearn societal expectations, relearn the importance of nurturing my inner child, and reimagine my life by embracing creativity as a tool for healing and growth; in this process, I became what I consider a "Creative Conqueror"

A Creative Conqueror is someone who uses resilience, creativity, and self-awareness to overcome obstacles, reconnect with their inner child, and inspire others through their journey and creative expression.

significant milestones

first i said, "F*ck that job."

I took a leave of absence and decided not to renew my teaching job. It tried to suck the life out of me, and i realized i deserved much better, and better was out there for me.

then i  reconnected with my inner-child.

I read about creative wellness, black psychology, and music therapy -- then applied what i learned into my routines & habits.

as God promised, i found my
dream role.

Once I rediscovered who i am at my core (a grown a** version of younger self) and honored her, God blessed me with a job that allows me to travel, design, teach, AND feel fulfilled while doing it.

now i have the $ to invest in my hobbies.

Now that I have a healthy work-life balance, I get to practice and discover things I only imagined as a kid, and unconsciously forgot about as I got older.

and as i stay aligned with my soul's mission:

To inspire creatives to reconnect with their inner child thru music, art, and mindfulness practices, fostering creative freedom, and emotional well-being.

my vision gets clearer than ever:

To build a community of empowered, self-aware individuals who embrace creativity as a tool for wellness and personal growth.

i dared to transform obstacles into opportunities with grace and creativity, with God as the ultimate creator over my life.

and so much more is coming in 2025
